Why Dental Implant?

"A minimally invasive one-day procedure and immediate recovery
-"That's Chrysalis implant solution!"

At Chrysalis Centre of Vancouver Implant Dentists, we provide implant services with excellent support and stability. Dental implant is simply an artificial root (usually made of titanium) that is surgically placed into upper or lower jaw bone. The implant will replace your missing tooth and provide a fixed solution to the challenges that old-fashioned denture wearers might experience. The artificial tooth attached to your implant will look very natural and greatly restore your smile. Dental implants are very strong, stable and will last many years (on occasion, they will have to be re-tightened or replaced due to normal wear).

Benefits of Dental Implants

Dental implants offer you many advantages
  • A cost effective solution
With "Teeth-in-a-day", your new replacement teeth require only four to six implants for each jaw. Having fewer implants required, the cost is lowered.
  • Faster treatment and healing time
With "Teeth-in-a-day" technology, your replacements arch can be attached to your implants immediately one day after the surgery.
  • Flexible options
You can choose a solution that fits the best for your situation. Choose between a fixed option (with higher durability and chewing function) or a removable option (for easy cleaning).
  • Scientifically proven and documented
"'Teeth in a Day' procedure is supported by effective clinical outcomes from studies in which four to six implants have been inserted to support full replacement arch.

The dental implant procedure

The process of getting implants requires a number of visits over several months. A CT scan and impressions (molds) or intraoral scanning are taken of the jaw and teeth to determine bone, gum tissue, and spacing available for an implant. Once the patient's implant is set and placed, there is a healing period. Once the patient has recovered, the artificial teeth (implant crowns) are then securely attached to the implant, providing excellent stability and comfort.

You will receive care instructions when your treatment is completed. Good oral hygiene, eating habits and regular dental visits will aid in the preservation of your new dental implants.
